Symptoms of opioid withdrawal


Opioid use, opioid withdrawal, painkiller use,  painkiller withdrawal, and drug misuse.

3 or more of the following symptoms are observed after the cessation/ reduction in opioid use or administration of a opioid antagonist after a period of opioid use.

  1. Dysphoric mood

  2. Nausea

  3. Muscle arches

  4. Lacrimation

  5. Pupillary dilation, piloerection, or sweating

  6. Diarrhea

  7. Yawning

  8. Fever

  9. Insomnia
